WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, Congressman Greg Casar announced he has hired Amy Emerick Clerkin to be his next Chief of Staff. 

For more than 20 years, Emerick Clerkin has served in Congress, including 16 years as Chief of Staff to the late Rep. Raúl Grijalva. She served as Grijalva’s Chief while he led the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which Casar now chairs. Emerick Clerkin holds a Bachelors of Arts from Lafayette College, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.
