Water Resources Development Act (WRDA)

The Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) is a water infrastructure bill that authorizes studies and projects under the Civil Works division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

As the House Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Committee begins working on the WRDA 2024 bill, members of Congress have the opportunity to submit their water infrastructure priorities in the following categories:

  1. Policy changes,
  2. New study or project authorization requests, and
  3. Environmental infrastructure (EI) assistance projects.

The House T&I Committee has posted information ahead of WRDA 2024 at the following link: https://transportation.house.gov/wrda-2024/
