Social Security is a lifeline for millions of Americans — which is why Congress needs to increase benefits, lower wait times, and ensure the program is around for generations to come. In our district alone, there are over 100,000 people who rely on Social Security to pay their bills. 

I’m working in Congress to make sure that every Texan is able to live and retire with dignity, and protecting Social Security is an important part of that work. I am proud to co-sponsor the Social Security 2100 Act and the Social Security Expansion Act to put more money in seniors’ pockets and guarantee that Social Security will be here for our kids and grandkids.
