NEWS: Congressman Greg Casar on Today’s Spending Package

March 22, 2024

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Greg Casar (D-Texas) releases the following statement:

“I voted no on today’s spending package because it bloats war profits while cutting aid to needy families,” said Congressman Greg Casar (TX-35). “The House Republican majority continually forces Democrats to choose between chaos and harm. Today, Democrats had to pass a Republican bill to keep the government open — and also had to oppose the same bill for war profiteering, attacking needy families, and locking up immigrants.”
